01
Booking

Before you book

01.1 How do I book a tattoo with Roman?

Use the booking form and send your idea, placement, size, style, reference images and preferred dates. Roman will review the enquiry and reply with the next step.

01.2 Can I walk in?

Roman mainly works by appointment so each client gets proper time and preparation. If walk-ins or flash days are available, they should be announced separately.

01.3 Do I need a consultation?

For small simple tattoos, a message may be enough. For larger work, cover-ups, sleeves, realism and memorial tattoos, a consultation is recommended.

01.4 Can I bring someone with me?

Ask before your appointment. Studio space needs to stay calm, clean and focused, especially during detailed work.

02
Pricing

Cost, deposits and sessions

02.1 How much will my tattoo cost?

The cost depends on size, placement, detail, style, design time and session length. Send your idea through the form for a realistic estimate.

02.2 Why can small tattoos still cost more than expected?

Small tattoos still need setup, careful placement, precise linework and clean execution. The price is based on the full professional process, not only the size.

02.3 Do I need to pay a deposit?

Usually yes. A deposit secures your appointment and covers design preparation time. Roman will confirm the exact policy before booking.

02.4 Can a large tattoo be split into sessions?

Yes. Sleeves, back pieces, realism and large cover-ups are often planned over multiple sessions so the work can be done properly.

03
First tattoo

New to tattoos?

03.1 Is it normal to be nervous before a first tattoo?

Yes. Most people are nervous before their first tattoo. Roman will explain the process and make sure you know what to expect.

03.2 What is a good placement for a first tattoo?

Upper arm, forearm and calf are often easier starting points than ribs, stomach, hands or neck. The best placement depends on your design and lifestyle.

03.3 What should I do before my appointment?

Eat properly, drink water, sleep well, avoid heavy alcohol the night before and wear clothing that gives easy access to the tattoo area.

04
Cover-ups

Old tattoo, new plan

04.1 Can any tattoo be covered?

Not always. Some tattoos are too dark, too large or badly placed for a simple cover-up. Roman will need to see the existing tattoo first.

04.2 Will the cover-up need to be bigger?

Usually yes. A strong cover-up often needs to be larger than the original to hide old lines and create a better design.

04.3 Do I need laser first?

Sometimes. Laser lightening can create more options and make the final cover-up cleaner, especially with dark old work.

05
Aftercare

Healing safely

05.1 How long does healing take?

Surface healing usually takes a few weeks, but the tattoo can continue settling after that. Always follow Roman’s aftercare instructions.

05.2 Can I go swimming after a tattoo?

No. Avoid swimming, soaking and hot tubs until the tattoo is fully healed.

05.3 When should I get medical advice?

If you notice worsening pain, spreading redness, pus, fever, chills or the tattoo feels increasingly hot and angry, contact a medical professional promptly.
